Just hived my first 2 packages about a week ago and already lost one to absconding. Guess they didnt like their new home. Other one is doin great though, building comb, bringing in pollen and storing nector and or suger water. Havent seen any eggs or larvae but its still early yet. Looking forward to this learning experience.

How long did they stay before leaving?  Did they go with the queen?   Were you feeding them?   We can figure  this out.  Welcome to the forum.
