Try arts and crafts shows. They seem to have the least amount of competition around here you may have one guy set up. I know of one guy that does one that sells local honey he buys from Mexico right here in Virginia. Amazing how crooks operate.

Yep sure does. He buys drums of the stuff and sells it with his own label. Know guys that have seen the shipments come in and be delivered. If he ever gets busted he's gonna end up giving us all a bad name.

Busted for what? He is not breaking any laws by relabeling. Just poor taste on his part.

Agree. I also grow a few vegetables to sell. Talked to a guy about 20 miles north of here about the local Farmer's Market. He flat told me all his spaces were rented and he didn't need anyone else. I picked up a space at another market, going to start going in a couple of weeks.

my local market said local honey is in demand because of allergys as the word is getting out, They say they cant keep it on the shelf. There charging 18 bucks for a 16 oz bottle, Supply and demand I guess. it is cheaper to buy allergy meds at those prices.

I do know he sells his honey under a pure local honey banner. I've seen his little set up at the arts and crafts show I was talking about. Never looked at his labels don't bother with people like that. If I can get my honey production up it would be nice to run him out of business though. Of course on the other hand I would be doing the same thing to my buddy so it's a double edged sword.
