new package and a new queen already?
«

One of my new packages looks like they re-queened already. This was the extremely pissy hive I had, now they seem better, and I found the queen today, she didnt have her white dot any longer, I understand that they could clean it off, but with all the other "signs" i think they might have made a new one......

They often supersede the package queen.

If $2 to have her marked is a big deal to you, then I wouldn't buy anymore queens, I'd raise my own... then you can save $20 or more...

yeah dont get me wrong (well I am cheap) but I dont mind spending money for a value...... I guess If I couldnt find the queen with out the marking it would have a value..... What might be better is to take an actual pic of the queen , this way one might be able to figure out whether or not the hive re-queened or just gave the queen a bath ...lol
