Hi, and great having you here! I'm new too and a bit of a blabbermouth, but the folks here are so fun (bless them) and there's so much to learn! Cheers and may we both have wonderful success, you with your backyard beekeeping, me with helping feed the honeybees. That's a beautiful state you live in...(Washington)

I also recommend getting involved with a beekeeping club. Clubs often offer beginner's classes and are great places to find mentors and get connected to the local beekeeping community:
