Here I go lol
I do everything last minute
I did a removal and ended up with 3 hot hives
I know want re-queen them.
2 colony's are all ready queen-less
and when the rain gives up I'll get to the 3rd q removed
I can order a Buckfast Carniolan cross
queen
and I like the points of each breed
I also know sometime on the second year or bred
they are nasty
Can you tell me if the Buckfast and Carni is a good cross
and anything else about them??
Anything you can tell me is a Plus
I would like to order today
Thanks
Last minute

I have a Buckfast hive, local Ontario, a Manitoba, Russian, Italian. No carniolans. I really like the Buckfast - gentle, good producers, made it through the winter strong - and I've heard good things about the Carni's. I think you'll have a nice hive with that mix. Hopefully someone has buckfast/Carni bees and can comment on the specific mix.
Wait - YOU have that mix, or will soon! Let us know.
Enjoy.

Finny
Where are these many ?/
AS far as what I ordered, I hope they can handle the heat
The heat is what worries me the most.
I am looking to build this season
I did see
www.russellapiaires.com
has all the queens I would like
too try but I am Cheap
These I got were only a dollar more than the local Italian mutt
I hope I get more than the Mutt
Before the summer is over I may try some Buckfast but believe
they are mean if superseded
