When to remove the wrap.

New mile stone for us, the ides of March, bees are flying all around the hive, more than I saw all winter.  There are traces of snow around but nothing near the hive.  When do you take off the wrap or in our case the roofing material?  I guess that banana didn't hurt them in January.
