Ultimate Bottom Board - Brushy Mountain

Has anyone tried Brushy Mountain's Ultimate Bottom Board? I picked up 10 of them for this season. It looks like the screen on the bottom is a little too small for beetles to fall through, but there is a set of vents right at the entrance that's plenty big enough for a beetle to fall through.  I was thinking of searching out a small container for oil to slide underneath the front of the board to see if it works for beetles coming through the front entrance. Anybody used this entrance vent for this?
