Federal budget.

Congress is considering (or fighting over) a $100 million cut from the $3.5 trillion federal budget.  Think about this.  If you had a $2,000 a month budget, to match that ratio, you would only have to cut six cents from your $2,000 monthly budget.   What's wrong with this?

Maybe Congress SHOULD spend a little more on education like AceBird says and learn how to do math  ;)

My point exactly Allen, since Congress can’t, or won’t, do anything, the Fed will end up fixing the problem by inflating the dollar.  The Fed is already doing this by printing money (which they do when they “buy” our debt/Treasuries).  Only in America.

I found a really cool (and scary) clock of our all our national debt at http://www.usdebtclock.org/

You look at those numbers and you realize it’s hopeless!

No wonder they're fighting over 6 cents  ;)
