Hello,
I am Joseph Clemens. Presently I live in Tucson, Arizona. I began studying bees and beekeeping when I was 6 y.o. and in First Grade. This was in Southern California (Los Alamos). There was a colony living in an oak tree behind the school. I asked Santa to bring me a hive for Christmas and received a hive kit for Christmas when I was 8 y.o. going on 9. Next Spring my father helped me assemble the kit and hive my first package of bees (Starline).
I was 10 y.o. in 1966 and I've kept bees since then while I've moved around the country. I've kept bees in Puget Sound, Washington; several locations in Southern California; Ohio; Virginia; and now Arizona.
