My initial post, looking forward to learning from the experienced beekeepers on this site. I just completed my first winter with two top bar hives and am hoping to expand this spring by trapping swarms and splits.

Welcome,
I am hoping to trap some swarms down here myself. Do you have many swarms were you live in KY?

I currently know of three feral hives within two miles of my home. It is my intent to place several traps in the area. Hope you have success with your trapping.
