Funny.
I was waiting to see an arrow drop into his back the whole time. I may have yelled at him before he got halfway up that ladder.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

WOW !!! Jim that looks bad. Hope I never have to deal with the kind of devastation that a hungry bear leaves behind. They have been spotted on the mountain just above me but not in my location YET. It's probably a matter of when because of the bee bait, huh ?

I had one of my hives at my newest bee yard knocked over by a Jackass recently, no really, one that herds cattle. Lost the hive though. ...JP

I guess the odds were a lot better than I had figured! I see the Jackass just about every time I've visited this property. He's usually herding a head of cattle. He's quite a striking animal with a blueish grey coat. He's obviously very curious in his nature. He must have gotten out of the main yard he was in (about 15 acres). I'm guessing it was him cause my Dad's friend doesn't have horses on this property that I know of, just a head of cattle and the Jackass. His droppings were scattered on the ground several feet apart, some right next to the hive rack. Bees must have scared the s--- outta him! ...JP
