I offered JP and Schawee to come to Omaha for the College World Series and get a world famous Zesto shake.

But let's bee more ambitious.  let's have a beek convention take over the CWS.

best of college baseball and best shakes at the same time.

let me know if you can make it up here.

I would love to come see the world series, (worked at the NAIA world series 5 times) but don't have the money.  As far as shakes go. chocolate peanut butter and thick enough you can stand the spoon up in it.

I had an egg nog shake the other day and it wasn't too bad to be from Arby's, I think I could improve on it quite a bit though.

Baby Shakes?   I guess for you little paws people that little cup I see in the videos is a "big" shake.

You put one of those little things you drink in my mitts and it'll look like a baby shake.   Smiley

Zestos got a cup that looks big in MY hands.

Now THAT, my fuzzy friend,  is a real shake.   evil

I'll just have Schawee use his connections at Burger Delight to get them to make a truly gigantic shake of epic proportions that would look big in King Kong's hands.

I know my buddy could pull that off.

Guess we would just have to supply the container, maybe a 55 gallon drum.

Yeah, a 55 gallon drum full of Burger Delight whoop azz!  tongue evil grin

back to baseball for a moment.  I have to admit that if local team Creighton isn't playing in CWS,  I tend to root for LSU myself.  They always have a fun crowd come here.

Is this the same Zestos as up there?         http://www.zestoatlanta.com/home.cfm   Just want to know if it is the same as up there as the shakes are the same.   Someone needs to post the recipe from Burger Delight.

Nope,  I think it's a different different Zestos.

At least the ownership is different for sure.  I've been reading of other Zesto's location around the country in the past.

They may be part of the historical chain.

From Wikipedia

Quote
Franchise History

Zesto Drive-In restaurants was started by entrepreneur and inventor L.A.M. Phelan, of Broaster Company fame, as a national franchise chain with locations from coast to coast. The first Zesto in Evansville, IN, opened in 1949 on Franklin Street, the second in Evansville opened on Boonville Highway, and the third Zesto opened on Riverside. The chain was especially popular in big cities such as Atlanta, GA, Columbia, SC, Kansas City, KS, Louisville, KY, etc., but it was also a staple in many small towns, such as Greensboro and Concord, NC, and other communities in the south and midwest. Over time, the franchise vanished, leaving several Zesto Drive-Ins around the country, but now they are all locally owned and operated by different people. The franchise died young, but the name lives on.
