Hello from Arkansas

Hello from Greers Ferry Lake , Arkansas. I will be getting my first bees next spring. Natural beekeeping is my goal. I have been reading a lot about beekeeping lately . I especially like Michael Bush's web page. Starting with all 8-frame medium Lang hives is my plan right now, although I am intrigued with Top-Bar and Warre Hives. I am a carpenter by trade , so I plan on building most of my equipment.

Welcome to the forum. It's great that being a carpenter you will be able to make a lot of your own stuff.

Dave,
Welcome to the forum.
I just spoke to a lady from the "Lady Beekeepers of Arkansas" the other day. Now that would be a group to join.....
I've always said we need more ladies.....
