BuzzBee, why do you need 2 cups of coffee to start your day?  Why not just wake up and get going?

I've never understood the coffee drinking thing. :?  Actually it drives me NUTS to have to wait for people to drink the stuff.

Times a tickin' and people are either drinking or smoking. :idunno:

Bluebee,
I'm with you on this. People think that you have to have a cup of coffee or a coke to get them going but if you never start using these crutches you don't need them.
I did used to drink a lot of cokes when I was younger by many years but had to wean off of them when I started getting severe headaches. Getting off of that stuff is rough. Takes about 2 weeks of headaches to free your body of them.

I don't "have" to have two cups. I am sure there are things you do I may consider wasting time. If I enjoy coffee and don't have anything all that pressing on the weekend, I sit and enjoy a little. I can function without it. I choose not to sometimes. I work hard at my job all week, and if stopping for a couple cups of coffee is a problem on the weekend, then it may be you that has the problem.
Some sit and take time with a large breakfast every day, mines under five  minutes with oatmeal ,a fruit and yeah, maybe a coffee to go  on the way out the door.
By  the way, I am out of bed by 5:00 am every day, sometimes before that if other things need my attention. and up plenty late enough at night, so I don't think all my time is a "wastin"

Buzzbee,
Only Blue could make a couple cups of coffee sound equivalent to a Meth habit.

Some people find enjoyment in a cup of coffee, others enjoy constantly critiquing others and trying to get under their skin.  ;)   To each his own!  :-D

Certainly the first cup of coffee has well gone before I have caught up on the cut-outs off a ladder  18 ft. from the ground, the funnies in the humour section, the politics in the Coffee Shop, the problems of beeks with their hives, the withdrawal symptoms of coffee addicts ( been there) and whats in the Trading Post.  However I had better get going and have the second cup before I have finished browsing the contributions in the Forum today.

...just two cups? I was drinking two cups every morning before I learned to walk ;)

I'm like yall. I love my slow down and smell the coffee time. I will also drink a cup mid day in the summer with high temps. Don't smoke, drink, or do drugs so my drug of choice is coffee. I have money left over from not drinking, drugging, smoking, and not having to pay court cost, so I don't care too much what a good cup of coffee costs - as long as it's good.

I gotta say that if someone drinking coffee in the morning drives you "NUTS" then it really doesn't take much now does it?

Resting up after days and days of moving snow.
Just poured my first cup and thinking if I should make a few extra candy bricks for those nucs covered in snow.
At least they're insulated being invisible like that. :th_thumbsupup:

We have been fortunate that with the cold there has been little snow. But we are coming into the season when we can get our larger storms here on the frontal boundaries.

Calling for 66 this afternoon. Making my first new year check. You can keep your white stuff. It's a 4 letter word here.

Folks retired down in Asheville years ago.
Wish I was there today for some of that warmer weather and sunshine.
One thing about living on the great lakes, is plenty of cloud cover in winter.
This winter is wearing out all my snow removal equipment here.

Snow and cold are best enjoyed sitting in the warm and looking out the window! :-D

It was 68 and sunny on Sunday, wunderground predicted a high of 58  that morning. Grafted queens with my mentor. I did 20 and she did 20. Some were eggs and some were 1 and 2 day old larvae. It has been raining since.

Rainy & cool day, thinking it's the last front before spring, bees should be swarming next week :)

Thought the colder than usual winter would set them back but they are on schedule

The bee calls have been coming in, next one could be a swarm call, I'm ready!

I've been around, mostly in the woods, took a little break from Internet forums but I'm on the Facebook forums pretty regularly
