Was hoping to do a removal with Schawee today. It was a job I priced a few days before my accident, which was a month ago today. Dang back just didn't want to cooperate so Schawee put in quite a long day and a few hours past dark and got the job done. Customer was very satisfied and appreciative! Just wish I could have stayed to do more.

Back situation has been getting old folks, the waiting has been killing me! Got the ball rolling though and having an MRI done tomorrow evening so we can figure out what's wrong and how to treat it so I can get back to work!

Got a breath of fresh air though today when Miss Annette called to see how I was doing. She is such an upbeat and wonderful person, very good at cheering you up! Thanks Annette!

So wish me luck folks!

I'm so hoping to get this figured out!  beat a dead horse

He will have a video up in a few. Unfortunate we didn't have the camera rolling when I was there. Talk about bickering!  grin

Schawee found the queen on this one he said on the third brood comb section he pulled out. Have to say he has become very proficient at finding queens, of course he lives to find them, needs to find them, one of his obsessions.  grin  Used to be vanilla shakes! Now I'm told he has a new one, skittles!  grin

That MRI machine is something else, noisy! Good thing I'm not claustrophobic! Yesterday my back was feeling a good bit better, before the MRI, but the test put quite a bit of strain on it, go figure! Glad its over and we are headed in the right direction!

Thanks again Annette for your call!

Along with two previously operated on shoulders (had the right shoulder operated on two weeks ago) Ive also got the back issues. My L1-L4 discs are totally blown out. Never opted for back surgery-when you talk to people about them, they either have miracle cure stories or horror stories. Never a middle of the road one. My best advice to you JP is to go to a book store and buy a book on Yoga. There are several good stretches that works wonders on mine. Finding your Zen is optional Smiley

Ok this is good news about getting that MRI over with. Keep us/me posted about the results.

I like that idea about the yoga, but first he has to figure out what is going on.

JP, I had my head examined once with a MRI machine.  They didnít find anything wrong me.  Take that you conservatives out there Smiley

I hear you about claustrophobia!  Iím not either, but I just about become one after that experience.

I have a neighbor whose back got so bad she couldnít even sit for more than 5 minutes.  I donít know her exact diagnosis, but she did two things and one of them seemed to pretty much cure her.  She started a walking routine; evidently that strengthens/balances back muscles.  She also went to a chiropractor and he put her on a very expensive machine that expanded her back (or something?).  Between those two things, sheís back to normal.

I hope your MRI results come back negative and itís just muscle or tendon strains.  Best wishes.

Bluebee says:  ""They didnít find anything wrong me.""

But did they find anything? If nothing was found, then nothing was wrong. Right?   evil  grin grin

Hang in there, JP. Deer season is just around the corner.

Here's a pic I took of the cut out Schawee

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

We dropped the porch ceiling and this is that view above. No band board at the wall, comb extended into the building another four feet or so is what Schawee told me, wasn't there to see it, but you will see in the video he had to go into the interior floor as well to remove the rest of the comb.

To do so, the carpet had to be pulled back and three (3) layers of flooring were cut to get to the bees!

Great job Schawee! Look forward to tomorrow, we will be working together as long as I can hold out.

Looks like a whole lot of comb there.    Hopefully soon we can have both of you on video again.
