And those hot peppers only add to the misery. They're hotter coming out then going in.

Happy Mardi Gras folks!

Not good weather for the occasion, in fact pretty terrible, flash flood watches through Wednesday night!

Going to build more bee equipment under the carport.

Have a great day and let's try to get along. I see some topics of discussion on here (albeit very entertaining to say the least) heating up quite a bit.

We all have our methods and opinions, let's share them in a kindly fashion.

Have a great day!

If I would have given him a few more minutes he would have been tucked in amongst the frames snoozing. He would have picked an end in a few. Getting him around bees is another story altogether, he has been popped a few times and has learned he wants no part in them.

Besides he has a very thin coat and zero fat on his body. No cushion against  stings. Complete opposite of me.  grin

Looks like it could be clearing by eleven but until then, very bad weather! They reported winds up to 80 mph by the Kenner Airport not too long ago. Prediction is seven inches of rain.

Actually seems to be letting up slightly at the moment, thank God!

One heck of a front coming through!

This is right down the street from my house, taken about 30 minutes ago. Even with my truck I had to go around this area to get back to my home after dropping my wife off at work.

Gee JP,
no wildfires anytime soon. Is the water done rising or are you in any danger?

OH my gosh JP, I hope everything is ok out there. What horrible weather all of a sudden.

The flooding is way to close for comfort I believe.

Take care

We made out just fine folks, thanks for your concern. Rain stopped around eleven, sun came out and the waters receded.

The Thanksgiving bees are doing great Annette! They overwintered in a medium nuc and I moved them into a full medium about a week ago. Very gentle colony and growing up a storm!

Got up this morning to a TSUNAMI warning at 3:30 am waiting for an up date to see if we need to get the heck out of here. Every thing is by the door or in my pickup ready to go.
