well that is indeed what i'm not talking about ;)

shadowstats is economist John Williams' site about govt manipulated statistics and how they change stats for political gain

the interview is a great read and insight to his devotion....

i highly recommend checking out his site....

no spam, just wanted to share and thought some people here might find the site enlightening and/or decent fodder. something to think about...chew the fat about.....

I've never gotten over the trick of backing off a proposed increase in spending and calling it a "budget cut" - still more money being spent than "last year" but it's a cut budget.

Is this the same guy who wrote editorials as "Walter Williams"?  If not, the profile is remarkably similar.  I used to read those articles regularly.
