If you are looking for sources of mailorder queens try American Bee Journal or Bee Culture magazines for there are plenty of adverisements by companies selling queens and bees.

There are alot of queen rearing operations not far from you. Kohnen, Strachan, Pendell. Yuba city, Glenn, Chico, just to name a few.
