Whether or not this particular story is factual or not is irrelevent.
Seriously? Stereotypes and rants and foaming at the mouth come from BELIEVING these types of stories! Since when do you say some things don't need to be true? If this was a rant against your political views, I believe you would expect it to be based on solid fact.

My point is that I don't beleive that story, at least the money elements of it.  I don't have to beleive that particular story.

Because there are so many other true ones in the news.  I have read stories from britain about a married couple doing exactly that thing.  Earning big money (substantial, at least!) on the dole.  www.dailymail.co.uk and search for "dole".  I didn't see that particular story, but there are others.

So that story is true in some element, somewhere.  And almost every person who relies on welfare without trying seriously to work is sending a loud and clear message to their kids.  Somebody will take care of you if you don't want to try.  You don't have to try.

And that somewhere is where our country is headed.

And it comes from the government taking over parenting, and parents giving it up. Parents living on welfare, not trying.  Not teaching their kids that hard work will ALWAYS be better than welfare.  That there is merit not only in the pay, but in the work itself.  And we'll be damning our children to the same stuff going on in France.  Shiftless youth not willing to work more than 30 hours a week, and when told that they'll have to work two years longer before the government will give them full pension, the country erupts in riots.  Because the people think that they deserve more for doing less, and the government is out of money to hand out to them.

THAT gets me foaming at the mouth.  The morons in Europe get me ranting and foaming at the mouth.  Because that is the endgame to the form of socialism this is encroaching and being pushed on us.

Ok.  I'll go wipe my mouth now.

If you are talking about the last part of this.......

Maybe when you get too many quote boxes in a reply it doesn't know where to stop?

Technical difficulties.

Luvin Honey, the last part was mine,if you click your name in that mess, your quote was reply 18 page one. I didn't intend for all that to copy as JerryMac said. And my comment was :

And now the ones who work their rear ends off for  a better retired life are to be penalized and taxed extra. How dare they think they can not share what they have worked hard for!!

Sorry for any confusion!! I'll be more careful with those boxes.

LOL. If there's a quote tag at the end - your post will be in a box.

Just an example.

But what I am saying is what I wrote was not in front of the quote and should not have been in the box but it was. Now I will see what this does. In the box or not.

Plop that last quote tag down below where you might normally scroll to read, and you are very likely to post a reply inside of it. But it might not show up that way.

.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

I've got to agree with Luvin Honey.

And there is no way this story is true.

The foster system doesn't work like that.  You can't volunteer for a specific child.  You sign up for the system, get checked out and approved and then assigned.  It's not like sponsoring a child with UNICEF.

I suggest you not get your "facts" from a blog titled "Exposing Liberal Lies" or Rush Limbaugh.  Those outlets are GUARANTEED to have an agenda and a financial stake in pushing that agenda.
