I left out my favorite (which is a sub category of horror) ZOMBIES - now THEY are some GREAT books when you can find them.

oh yeah zombies happen to be my own personal favorite in the horror genre as well.
I selected quite a few choices. I'm just addicted to books is what it amounts to.

Thanks for voting in the pull. I know it's 2 1/2 years ago, but sadly it in memory loss issues from lymes disease, I don't remember creating this poll – it's good to see someone actually take it, nine votes to have years seems a little lite. Hopefully now that it's reposted some others may vote. Thanks.

I like action and thrillers, and I guess it would be called historical fiction. Also fiction, sometimes romantic, but generally speaking, I don't read to many romantic books.
Some of my favorite books are:
Behind the Beautiful Forever by Katherine Boo (LIfe, Death and Hope in a Mumbai Undercity)
Tulip Fever by Deborah Moggach (this was a very sensual romance set in Amsterdam)
Life of Pi by Yann Martel (they made a movie out of this book) One of my favorites
I love David Baldacci Books (action, thrillers) and have read:
The Forgotten Absolute Power The Winner (one of my favorites) Stone Cold Divine Justice
The Round House by Louise Erdrich (Story of a Crime on an Indian Reservation)
I love, love, love the trilogy by Stieg Larsson: The girl who played with fire, The girl who kicked the hornets nest, and the girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I just love the heroine of these books.
Well thats enough for now.

I picked "Other" - I often choose by author no matter what the genre may be. Anything by Orson Scott Card - I grab if I see it. Neil Gaiman is a master of descriptions (He's also a beekeeper - but I'm not sure how hands-on he is with it.) I wouldn't know how to categorize myself as a reader, since if I'm not looking for something specific - I could wind up with anything. Sci-fi Sci-fi Sci fi. is where I land most when I'm not going by author.

Audio books....no strain on the eyes, and at my age I know I will be forgotten what I heard in five minutes anyway.
