Just took the jetskis out of the water.   Got to ride only 2 weekends this summer.   Kids in school already.  And deer season starting up this month and I have nowhere to go.  I have no time for nothing.  And my hair is still falling out.

Allen, shave the hair off already...you wouldn't believe the freedom!

my questions are...

as you get older do the years go by more quickly?

is this related to Einstein's relativity theory?

It is like this. When a child is born that first day is the longest one ever. After all it is his whole life.

At age two a year is half your age so the second year went by twice as fast as the first year.

By age fifty a year is one fiftieth of your life and it just zipped by.

JP, hmm, words of wisdom.

Fast, you wanna see fast, take a walk in my shoes.  You never in your widest dreams could ever imagine how fast time has gone by for me  tongue  tongue  cheesy .  Been in our new home and area for three months, now, given or taken a couple of days, here and there, now that is fast.

Yep, yep agreed, I think as we age, these days pass far more quickly, than those days of yon, those days of childhood bliss, where the day never seemed to end, just carried on and on and on.  I truly cannot believe that three months has passed since we made that great move -- to this nevernerverland of fun and love.  I am happy.  We are all happy.  And most of all, and I can speak so freely, as I know that all my forum friends here love me, as I love them, that I am soon to be back, speaking and talking with you all, through this cyber of space, my Bros and Sistas, we are one.  Yes, dear pal, JP, these days are passing quickly, but as the old saying goes, "time flies when you're having fun" and it sounds to me, that you are having fun.  Actually, I can't believe that it has been coming close on to over two years since Whoppo got his butt kicked, sending him off to a new and glorious place, where he actually knows that he was not bossman, second or third in line to several other dudes.  Poor Whoppo, too bad you never took a midnight trip through that cyber of space and took him home to your place.  You may have got your butt nearly kicked too by this dude, you then would totally understand what a gander (well, he was a drake) bite felt like  evil evil evil  cheesy Wink cool shocked.  Love ya, fellow friend.  Don`t give a care about how quickly the days are going, harbour them with great zest and zeal.  Have that most awesome day, love it, care for it, it is yours, you make those days to be what you so chose, health wishes to us all.  Cindi

Where indeed has time gone?

Perhaps someone finally found a way to trap time in a bottle.

to save every day til eternity passes to spend them with someone they love.

(I love that song)

Problem is, they might not have thought that by saving that time, they have taken it from all the rest of us, eh?

just thinking out loud,

My son's birthday was July 27 and this morning when I was dropping him off at pre k he told me that he wanted his birthday party this time at Chuckie Cheese.  Just out of the blue as we were walking to school.   He was really getting ready for it a year out.  But he could not see that it was a year out.   The mind of a 4 year old.

Yeah Irwin, you're probably right man, but Father time does have a way of catching up on us and Mother nature ain't always so kind.

The real sign of a man getting older is when those young honeys that wanted to date you, now "respect" you and call you "Mr." and even worse "Sir"!

When they call you "Sir", well, that's just the icing on the cake, you might as well go get your tomb stone engraved then!  grin

I dunno about that.

I always call folks, "sir" or mister or Ma'am or miss or whatever, especially if I don't know their names.

I hate when i go to a bank or somewhere and they think they can call you by the first name that is on your account or drivers license.

I appreciate them using 'sir' or Mr Sandoval when talking to me, especially in business situations or kids at my kids school, etc..

I insist on showing proper respect and I expect it as well.  Use of "sir" etc.. isn't limited to age for me.  so  I guess it doesn't affect me that way.

what makes me feel the passing of time is having daughters.  Man, before  I had kids,  I felt no remorse at getting an eyeful of a cutie.  Now I'll start to take notice of an attractive female and the very next thing I register is how old she looks in comparison to my daughters.

takes the wind out of my sails every time.
