I have not gotten the fall catalog yet, what are the limitations of the free shipping?  I just placed an order for stuff today and went with a closer bee store for shipping reasons.

Got the catalog today. Free shipping on orders over $100. Prices went way up. Wooden frames went from 82 cents to $1.45! They lost me with the price increases. Brushy Mountain is having their big sale right now. Paid 80 cents for frames. Bought 50 each of med. and deeps, plus a 12 pound box of foundation (135 sheets).

usually the shipping from bushy is to much for me.  mann lake ships from CA so it's cheaper. i'll double check the prices but i have over 100 dollars worth of stuff, so brushy mt prices would have to be really go to beat that.....

See I normally buy from Brushy being on the east side for me and I do buy a lot from them in December.   Today's order was from Rossman's since they are just a bit south of me in the same state.  Shipping will kill you.

I hate when companies jack up the prices during "sales".

i think i tossed my old catalog.  i don't know if they raised prices for the sale or if prices are just up.  anyway, with the shipping from others, this is still the best deal for me.

Since Mann Lake is going the free shipping route (while increasing prices and it's working), others will follow.
I just hope Mann Lake will still have lower prices for those who wants to pick up.

.....   I just hope Mann Lake will still have lower prices for those who wants to pick up.

I sent them an email the other day to ask about this because I live close enough to pick up too. Their answer - "We have pick up pricing on some items. Call for more information." Haven't gotten around to calling yet since I don't need anything at the moment. Just by blind luck, I did a good-sized order the week before they raised prices.

It's a killer when you need a handful of things and will be in the area, or someone can pick up for you. Big difference in cost now.

Actually the frames are $.93 each but if you order 100 or more they are $.68 each and they allow you to mix sizes to meet the 100 frame discount. I just ordered 100 mediums for $68 last night along with other stuff to hit the hundred dollar mark.

Just compared my order with Mann Lake's catalog. I ordered a queen cage, 50 med. and 50 deep frames, and a 12 lb. box of med. wired wax foundation. It was $189 with shipping from Brushy Mountain. I priced the same order from the new Mann Lake catalog and it was $219! And that's with their free shipping!

So can you call it free shipping or premium shipping included?

i did the same.  i think it's only going to be a good deal if you are pretty close.  otherwise, not so much....

i think you have to call it shipping included.

Guess it depends on what you are ordering...from what I have seen on the internet $.68 per frame is a pretty decent price and with free or included shipping it's that much better. Cheapest frames I have found are $.45 a piece down in TX but after shipping they end up not being any cheaper than the $.68 frames from Mann Lake. Now of course there are plenty of other things from ML that have been overpriced that I would never order...but frames I'll order from there all day long.
