Well I am happy to have found this site! The best way to learn more about my farm is to visit my web site. The web pages are never done but if you follow the link for the blog you can get a flavor of what is going on here from week to week.
I am new to beekeeping - as in my hives were installed on the 1st of May this year! Everything seems to be going well so far, but there is a lot of time left in the season! I don't have anyone really handy to show me how to do things but I do have a couple "phone a friends" who clarify items from time to time. I am not sure I have too many goals for the bees just yet... just facinated by them and I am looking forward to giving out a little honey for the holidays.
I grew up on a large commercial farm in NW Ohio, went off to college and life in the big city, and now have retreated back to the farm. I work in Columbus, Ohio and make the one-hour commute every work day of the week. I am blessed to be able to work remotely one day a week or so, making it better than I can describe.
Hmm... not sure what else to offer by way of introduction. Email me if you care to - I check my personal email frequently and love trading information with people interested in all things rural. Check out the web site for more, and thanks in advance for your help, comments, and encouragement. Pax.

Nice blog.... and it's a fun way to get to know people. Good to have you join. And I'm hoping to see you join in on the posting in the little farming or garden sections we have here too.
