I'm only 1 mile from rt.70 I travel it every day - Eastbound 70 from here is to the parkway and Brick and west is toward Cherry Hill - with traffic, slow drivers and too many lights, it is still the most practical way to get to Philly from here.
All that section of 70 West is in my town until you leave Ocean County and enter Burlington County. That's about 17 miles of one lane road too hilly and busy to pass on. Glad to have someone knows the traffic around here - a Census tally has NJ No.1 in population at 1270 people per square mile, Montana the lease with 5.
PS... 87 per mile at Bud's in Mississippi.

OK, I'll play! My complaint of the day is that I have been without my Imac since Saturday while it is being repaired. I'm having major withdrawls: haven't been able to use Imovie to make my cut out videos and more importantly having to use this computer that runs windows. I'm hoping I get my puter back today! ...JP

Complaint of the week because that's what it's going to take from my life: People that prey on old people with dementia. My Dad just won $500,000 in the lottery he entered in Australia! He has to wire $6500 first to cover foreign taxes, though. He's in semi-independent living, trying to hitchhike a ride so he can wire the funds. He believes it's a scam, until they call him again. Police involved, but no crime yet so they can't do much. He probably gave them his ss# too. Been preparing for this for a year, but it still SUCKS. Not the first time this particular scam has happened to him, but last time it was just $100.

I am always winning lotteries from all over the world. They are just scams. I am sure the Australian government has a way of pulling the taxes out of the winnings first before sending it on to you. Where are you needing to send those taxes to anyway? The Australian government?

Policewoam said she was personally threatened by a Nigerian scammer when she got in the middle of phone call scams trying to protect an elderly lady. Guy said he would fly out from Nigeria to kill the old woman and the policewoman, too. She laughed at him. Luckily my Dad lives in a small town where everyone knows everyone. This will give them all something to talk about. Wish I could get my hands on these scammers that steal from the elderly. Scum of the earth.

go talk to the bank. you may be able to get your name on his account so that they have to call you for withdrawals outside normal. also talk to the SSI people. they will be able to make you conservator of his SSI funds. you will either get the check, or have to co-sign. you just have to prove that the money is spent on him. it's kind of a pain, but both the banks ans SSI are used to dealing with this kind of stuff and seem to be willing to help.

Thanks, Kathy. I have power of attorney and have been taking care of his medical care and finances for a year. But it's hard to protect them against everything and everyone. Luckily, I'm good. Well, except for accidentally threatening the Buffalo Police Department today (thought I was calling the scammer). "I know where you live and who you are, I've filed TWO restraining orders with BOTH police departments you sorry excuse for a human being, and..." "Excuse me miss, this IS the police department." "Really?" I didn't believe her at first. It was all a complete lie, too. Heck, I didn't even have the phone number correct. ROTFL at myself.

Picked my computer up yesterday morning and had to bring it back in late yesterday evening.
I'm trying to be patient but this is a computer that's less than two months old and is shutting off now on its own.

Well yeah I like Big Macs. But Mac is my middle name.
My dad had a brother that got backed over when he was two years old, I was named after him.
