Bee attack in Texas
«
on:

I got a call from a friend that said his grandson, grandson's friend, and dog were attacked near Throckmorton Texas. Each kid, age 7 I believe, had at least 15 stings and the dog died from the encounter. I guess the reason the dog died from the encounter was it was tied up and could not run. I've tried to find any articles on this but cant. He told me the city found the hive and killed it, took two different days of spraying. He told me they were "killer bees" but Im sure they were not tested. Anyone from Texas here about this?

Here is the entire AHB page. This may make things easier to find.

Thanks for the map. It shows the county has reported African bees but still no article. I called yesterday to find out about the local paper and I found they are canging owners so the webiste has not been updated for awhile. She is going to send me the paper and Ill scan it and post it when It comes in.
