Well people I have to change my life style Cry with the stress of taking care of the wife and my love of good food and beer and cig's I had a small stroke. I'm going to be OK but have to give up almost every thing I love to eat and do grin It happend yesterday after I and the wife got the news that her wrist has not healed one bit that scared the crap out of me the doc is going to give her 4 more week's in a cast and see what happen's. Life is short so please understand and love the people around you. I wonder what is next maybe my home hive will swarm.

Sad to hear that, Irwin. Hang tuff and take it easy. A sedentary life is a lot better than none at all. Here's best wishes for you and the Missus.

Brother Irwin, you and the Mrs take care of yourselves. We all need you around here. Life would not be the same without seeing you ride around with beer cans attached to your forehead.

Sending positive vibes your way.

Go with the flow Irwin. 22 years ago I had a heart attack and gave up cigarettes, sugar and coffee cold turkey. Have not had a cigarette since but eveything else in moderation seems to have worked OK.
May it all settle down for yourself and the better half. Dont know what its like in those other places but right here on this planet suits me fine in spite of all the ups and downs that go with it.

good luck Irwin, I had to quit smoking after an accident, I'm not sorry I did it; a year and a half later I still occasionally think 'I could sure go for a cigarette about now.' (just so you're not surprised when you haven't thought about a cigarette for weeks, and all of a sudden you want one) -  tough break on the good eats and beer though.

Sorry your having to start taking care of yourself... it sux when age makes you do that.  Its not so bad once you get used to it.  I had to change myself.  For instance- my grilling system had to change.  Went from huge Ribeyes and a 12 pack to 6oz filet and a good glass of merlot...Maybe 2 if I been good ........and when you think about it..... in reality ...... its an upgrade on both accounts.

Seriously.  You take care of yourself and do whats required.  Your wife and all of us need you around .

Keep on the lobster Irvin I don't know if its healthy but it sure looks good! ciggies are a no no though, packed in five years ago, hate the smell of them now. You both get well soon.
