Watch bees, garden, pick berries, hike, bike, read books.
The pedigree of honey
Does not concern the bee;
A clover, any time, to him
Is aristocracy.

I like watching dirt track racing at the local track and hitting the hot tub at the end of the day.

i either blow stuff up with a little gaming, go shooting, or, my preferred method...go to the mountains with my horse.  the last is weather dependent.  the second is getting expensive.
.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

Sit quietly and smoke...and recall that today, I have 13 months and 3 days until I retire from Uncle Sam's Kanoe Klub.

I don't. I stay wound-up all the time. I can't help myself. I just seem to get sucked into things.

I took a day off of work today...

And did a cut out with Bruce Schawee.  :-D

Seriously, it was a mercy removal, so neither one of us got paid for an all day of it, but we had a ton of fun and I felt like it was a day off.

Oh and I love to fish and hunt, and eat.

i got bored with drag racing and golf so now i just hang around the house, fold an AK now and then and work the yard.
seems like everything i get into gets effected by political or economic 'issues' sooner or later so i figure the best bet is
enjoy the property, dogs, chickens and bees.

Zopi is a short timer and probably already wearing his chain!!   Bjorn,  ?  I read every post :) kept my mouth shut, my mama would have been proud.  To unwind,  fish, hunt, play guitar,  do strange things with black powder and old radio control stuff :)  Walk in the woods.

I unwind by keeping bees, racing pigeons, using my ham radiio, working around my mini-farm, making the wife angery by answering the question she's asked 12 different ways the same way each time, and going to the doctor.

I've been known to sleep as much as 72 hours straight thanks to narcolepsy and sleep apnea.  I have to take medication to stay awake or I might sleep forever.  I call narcolepsy the Rip Van Winkle disease.   :brian:

But when I'm not sleeping I  keep :bee:   :catchchick: when they get loose.  :chop: to keep warm,  :delivery: from FedEx, UPS, & USPS,  tend to my :sheeple: and in my spare time I get on my  :soapbox: where I  :deadhorse:
