someone is giving me a (not so subtle hint) about
« on: June 24, 2010, 11:47:12 PM »
my after post comment     i'm guessing someone thinks it's a bit long....

ok.  got it.  i'll find another ASAP, but not before tomorrow.

he is one of my favorites, but not known for short observations.  his journals are long and verbose.
.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

You're right. They are tooooo close to being buried forever and forgotten.

You should reply to those harping about the length, with one of the best one word replies ever given....."Nuts!"

And of course it was from some dead guy....

NY and CA must have a lot in common...Seems I saw an article with pictures of Lady Gaga making that same wave at a Mets game.
