Obstetrician/Gynecologist in a large private group practice. Kept bees at age 13 and 14 with my dad. He died a couple of years ago and I started having fond memories of that time in my life and started beekeeping. It always makes me feel like he is watching!

Police Detective.......... The bees keep my mind off of the drama of People. They allow me to fully concentrate on them and stop thinking about The Burglars, Rapists, Child Molesters, Robbers, and Murderers.......... that are always out there. Its a great past time.....

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

I work in a distribution center for a major sporting goods retailer. I also mow lawns and do odd jobs for the elderly who can't afford to have a "professional" come in and do it. Besides beekeeping, I also do living history programs, demonstrating colonial life circa 1750. (How fast can you light a fire with flint and steel?)

Forester for a major paper company which produces 'product packaging'. I get paid to drive the company supplied 4x4 to the mountain and walk in the woods all day. Thank God I have the bees to calm me down after such hard work. For all of you that are cops- My Alma mater also hosted a police academy. My two roommates were in that program. At dinner they talked about what evidence could be found on a dead body & having to be exposed to mace. A third roommate, the guy taking the fireman program, talked about having to find his way out of a cargo container filled with smoke but without his mask. The most I could ever offer was the difference between Pitch & Slash pine! You guys, & gals, Rock. Thanks for what you do.
