Bears and bird feeders
« on: June 07, 2010, 01:56:12 PM »
I haven't seen the true story, yet some images have surfaced for awhile on the internet via email and websites. Personally, I think this is a hoax with photoshopped pictures...  Can bears climb rope?

i agree with you...this looks photoshopped...the angle of the dangle doesn't add up either and the rope is hardly drooped at all in accordance with the bear's weight.....

i am calling it a hoax.

If you go to that sight http://selever.freeshell.org/projects/rand/  in the first picture I can not imagine what the bear must be standing on. There isn't a branch anywhere that could be holding the bear up. Plus every shot is a different camera angle. A lot of moving around without disturbing the bear don't you think?

I guess the bear is suppose to be using the tree to stand on. here's another link to some photos I do find it difficult to believe too.
