I like doing cut-outs, but I love catching swarms!

WWW
« on: June 04, 2010, 10:05:36 AM »

As some of you know, I am making videos now of removals and swarm catches. I have uploaded 8 videos to youtube, 9 actually.

I am having issues with the 9th one, its a swarm catch video. I have tried uploading this particular video 3 different times to youtube to no avail.

I am wondering if youtube has a video limit? Perhaps I have exceeded their limitations, I don't know for certain.

I have not had the time to search their entire site on terms and policy, have looked but just have not found anything concerning their guidelines on usage.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Jp youtube don't have a limit down load it to your computer and then down load it to youtube some times it will have a glitch and that's how I do it. OH  make shure you use the right format.

Irwin, as you may know, I purchased an Imac and use Imovie, an extremely user friendly program. I'm not having any trouble pulling the videos from my camera's memory cards and making movies. The program even has a "share" feature for uploading to youtube.

Thanks for the feedback.

Ok, I officially think somethings up with youtube right now. I've loaded and reloaded same video 5 different times, not appearing yet, so we will see.

Kathy, thanks for the info. I'm well aware of the ten minute rule, youtube won't allow any video upload that's more than ten minutes long. This latest one is 7:40 seconds.

It also appears there is no limit to how many videos one can post, so I guess I will need to wait and see on this one.

If y'all think I'm missing something, please let me know.

Thanks!

If any of you use Imovie and upload to youtube, you probably understand what I had to go through to download this video. (in honeybee removal section).

I had to create a new project with Imovie and edit the existing movie for it to upload. I believe the new movie is better.

Anyway, I finally figured this out. Thanks for all the feedback.
