well first of all how many hives do you have? I would say you need a double wax tank and a 4 frame radial extractor and that should be fine for you.

I never bought an extractor until I could get a 9/18.  I never regretted waiting.  Crush and strain is less work than a 2 frame extractor and WAY cheaper.
