I love it. I sort of predicted this, I remember an argument with someone and telling him under "worse case conditions" as he presented, much of the military would defect to the constitution as avowed, not blind obedience (his worse case scenario, not mine).
Heres the Hope someone else thought was a marketing term.

i have been watching them for a while.  wanted to see how they would develop.  they seem to be growing and more people know about them.  i think it is a good thing to be reminded of the oath we too.  it does not expire.

More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

Something along those lines were my first thought when I saw the volunteer button. Now they know who we are and where to find us.

I know they've been attacked by some radical lefties already; but how foolish would a government have to be to persecute someone who reaffirms s/he will stick to an oath it issued to them.

When they (the ones in office) decide to do away with the constitution you swore to protect of course.

...and then the ones in office are on the wrong side of the law and subject to arrest (even a constitutional convention has rules they must follow for the outcome to be valid) - I would still assert the validity of the bill of rights in that case though - no change on paper can take your rights away.

You are right, but corrupted force can take the rights away. I am sure it has been done some where in history.

When the lawlessness rules, rights suffer.

Nevermind history, you only need the day's news.  These people are (re)pledging themselves not to let that happen.
