European wasps and flowering gum trees

Did not hang around to get a good shot of European wasps on a lamb bone lure. Had no protection so in the hurry did not get to see the wasps on the other side or lower down.
I am just using this lure to try and track down the nest. From this site I will move it about 50 yards and get another line as to where the nest is.
Flowering gums 50 metres from the wasp lure out in full bloom. One can hear the buzz from that distance away, so I suppose I can call this an autumn flow.
