My turn!

I married up...I have a wife that is far better than anyone I could ever have hoped for.  We celebrated 24 years last month and it has gotten better with time.

I am very excited about beekeeping and approaching it as a couple.  I have had my hobbies over the years, but this is the first hobby where we've made a connection together and we both enjoy it.  I look forward to many more years together with my wife...and all the other girls too.  Wink

i have a husband to brag on also.  he has learned to collect swarms, do cutouts, and takes stings like a man  evil  if i am gone, he will check hives and super them.  the only thing he has not done yet is extract honey.  that might be a good thing.  i make enough of a mess all by myself!

.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....
