I enjoyed Avatar.  I would have enjoyed it more if there were actually at least one surprise in it... I saw everything coming a mile away.

I enjoyed it. We rented it after release so no 3D but we did watch it several times. I don't think it lived up to the hype, but thought it was still entertaining.

But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. I watched Battle for Terra last night on Netflix.   Wife wanted the 4 year old to watch it today.  (he loves Avatar)   We were watching it with him and at the end, he asked us what was the bubble thing the astronauts were building in.   And we explained that was were they could live on that planet.   He then said "why didn't they do that to start with?"
