Anyone else have an issue with internet access today?

I have Hughs net. After trying everything in my "tool box". I called the "help" line. The guy at the other end could access my computer and I was able to access the address he had me type in. He then claimed I had a hardware problem and would need the services of a technician.

That was around noon EST.

Around 4:00 PM I tried once again to fix the problem and only disconnected and reconnected the router. I was able to sign on immediately.

Innterestingly, I just spoke with my daughter (who uses Roadrunner) and she had been unable to make a connection from this morning until around 3:30 PM EST.

Cheers,
Paul

Hmmmm

Maybe this was a more local think. I'll ask around at work later (2nd shift).
