one of the pleasures of living in the PNW. we get to crawl around in the mud cutting our own trees!

We do that here in New England too.
You can go and pick yours out in the spring and tag it and come back in Decemeber to cut it down or just choose one when you get there in December.
When I was growing up it was only $10.00 to cut your own, they have gone up now but its still not as expensive as some of the trees they see in the parking lots and nurseries.
My daughter's boyfriend lives on 70 acres and they grow trees for Christmas as well.
Lots of fun cutting them down!
Good job picking out your tree Irwin, have fun decorating it too.

Sounds like my husband too Irwin. He likes to sit on the couch with a cup of coffee and watch. He gets up to help with getting the angel to the top of the tree though if we can't reach.
