A friend of mine sent me a email with a special request, he said:
I hope you'll help -- Nathan Elfrink, who lives near me, will celebrate his last Christmas on earth this year. He is 7 and dying of brain cancer. When asked, he said he would like Christmas cards from people from all over the world. He received 40 yesterday. Please take the time to send this special boy a Christmas card. Nate Elfrink 2415 Taylor Blair Rd, West Jefferson, Oh 43162
Please help make this wish come true!

Once again take time to read what you find on the internet before becoming a skeptic.
I mean come on, Mexico, NY Jacob Hadcock - West Jefferson, OH Nathan Elfrink. The only thing the two stories have in common are Christmas cards.
In my orginal post I said a friend of mine sent this to me in a email. He lives close to the Elfrink's. This wasn't something I found on the web and decided to post on the forum.
Buzzbee's right, I'm sure this family will take all the prays it can get. What a test of your fate knowing your about to lose a young child.

I noticed the difference between the names and locations yesterday as well as the fact that you said the e-mail was from your friend so I proceeded with the cards but I am really glad that you clarified it today for everyone else so it wouldn't put anyone off from sending a card.
What a heartbreak for this family.

Although the story is true, the snopes article said the mother had thousands and please cut it off as of Dec. 15th. She had no way of keeping any more.
