will any linux programs run old windows?

I have been wanting to go to Linux, but have some old windows 95/ME programs which I wouldn't want to lose. Will any of the Linux family run Windows?

A great many of the older Windows apps have been made to run in WINE.

My guess is there is about an 80% or greater success rate now in running apps for Win XP or before.

You can always do a dual boot install to get your feet wet. It's pretty easy.
