Ants are a very adaptive species and are very persistent in getting what they want. They can be a real nuisance in trying to keep them under control. If you look in your yard, you will eliminate them today in one area and a week later, there they are again in another location. It is impossible to keep them out of your home also. They just keep moving to a new location. When you thought you had them under control, there they are again. Keeping them out of your home is the first line of defense. Sealing all holes where they can enter into your house is important. Seal all cracks and any small openings. Keep trees and shrubs away from your home. Cut off branches to prevent ants from entering from shrubbery and trees, according to

I had some ants recently that took me using a Baiting System almost one month to get rid of them. I applied the bait several times, they took it and slowly the colony died. Using toxic pest control chemicals is not an option for me because of my Allergies to Pesticides. There are a lot of people out there who have Allergies to Pesticides too. All of us use a Baiting System and Boric Acid. In the last 15 years, not once have I sprayed Pesticides in my home. So, it is important to remember that you do not need to spray toxic pest control chemicals in your home for ants. Baiting Systems and Boric Acid works very well. If you do not want to do this job yourself, hire a Professional Pest Control Company that will do what is call IPM or "Integrated Pest Management" in your house. Just call them and tell them what your want.
One of the most important things to remember about ants, keep your home clean and free of food crumbs. By do this, you will eliminate all food sources and control them. Keep all leftovers in sealed containers to prevent Ants from finding them and leading other fellow pests to the food. Keep your Kitchen clean on a daily basis and you will not have these pests there looking for crumbs to eat.
In conclusion, ants love warm and humid climates. They are a very persistent species and adapt quickly to changing circumstances in their lives. IPM or "Integrated Pest Management" Systems uses the least toxic system to control pests. If you are Allergic to Pesticides, you cannot use Chemical Pest Control Systems in your home. Baiting Systems and Boric Acid works well in keeping then under control. If you feel that you have been affected by a Professional Pest Control Chemical, contact your Doctor immediately.
