My 1 year old got it first, now I have it.  My wife and 4 year old seem fine.  This is my 3rd day home sick from work.  Ugh.  It's been kinda nice since I've been able to catch up on some reading and plan out building our chicken coop and greenhouse.

In case anyone's wondering, it feels no different than the regular seasonal flu.  It came on really fast.  Haven't thrown up or anything, I guess that doesn't happen with most people with the swine flu.  But the headaches and coughs are horrible.  My fever is dropping and I'm hoping to return to work tomorrow.

Feel better soon.  I work at a hospital and we have seen many new cases of swine flu coming through the clinic, but really doesn't seem much different from the regular flu. This is something most people have agreed on at work. Although earlier cases of flu this year.

Sean, wishing you a fast recovery.  Flu, flu, flu, just a flu.  Not getting a shot, and never have.  Have a great day, great health. Cindi

Sorry to hear that Porky Pig! I hear its no good, but you are able to snuff out truffles pretty well.

I was kinda hoping it was a few other people not you just for the irony of it.

Cant have a man with a fine Irish name like yours getting crook.

sean, just be aware that it can come back on you and this one is prone to getting into the chest and causing infection.  in a couple of days you may be well, or you may only think you are well.

how's the baby doing?

Thanks everyone!

I woke up this morning feeling like a million dollars.  Still stuffy, still have the cough, but headache is gone and so is the fever.  Woke up several times through the night soaked in sweat.  I'm making some gypsy cold remedy tea now which really seems to help, took my vitamins, and made a big bowl of oatmeal.  Just gunna take it easy and see if I feel good enough to go to work tonight.  My dispatcher said he'll take it easy on me.

Little June is doing much better too!  Last night she was acting herself and the fever was gone.  She kept going into the kitchen and pointing at the fridge saying "bite? bite? bite?"  which means she finally has an appetite.  lol.  But now I think my wife is starting to come down with it.  Ugh, it never ends!!!

Sean I'm glad you are feeling better.  Hopefully your Wife will be able to take it a little easy so she can fight it.  With small children tho it is impossible!  Kids are little petri dishes, they bring all sorts of nasty things home, the fun is just beginning...wait till school!  If you guys need anything give me a ring, I'm just down the road!
