Why thank you guys!  I made chix & dumplings.  My girls were with me, a wonderful evening spent with the loves of my life like Cindi says!  I don't know what I would do without them.  I am so blessed to have these girls 1 biological and one love.  Now that I'm 1/2 thru my life, reflecting on the last 10 years or so I realize I only have around 20 GOOD healthy years left & can't' (won't) live like this anymore so things will have to change...or things will change!  Exciting and scary at the same time!  Almost broken but will come out stronger and ornerier than ever! grin

.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....
