In my neighborhood, we're thinking about building a fort and defending it to the last.   Jerry We thought we would simply build a wall around the neighborhood and create a self-sufficient eco-pod.  Sounds like we might want to get started real soon.  Anyone want to join us???  happy campers

Sure, come on down, we have plenty of room!  Actually, except for the wall, we already have a strong neighborhood.  Everyone helps and we work as a group on major projects, especially when it comes to things for the kids.  We had some trouble with things being stolen about a year ago, but we all pulled together and some of us took to patrolling the area at different times of the day and night and kept an eye on things.  Word spread quickly and the trouble ended as quickly as it started.

Now that we've all seen what a "Liberal Tea Party" looks like behind the scenes, we see the first thing they do is go into some Obama voodoo ritual hoping to unearth some evil spirit to kill capitalism and anyone "Right" of Center in thinking. The only thing missing is the THRILLER sound track.

This is a CULT, no other words come to mind. I just hope that they find a comet to hitch the Obama name to and follow the nutcases that came before them to glory.

They are brainwashing school kids, college students, adults and seniors of the GREAT ONE having arrived and how his Nobel Prize in Peace is just ONE SIGN of the many to come PROVING he is the Chosen One.

Sad thing is, I doubt very much Obama wants any of these nut cases latching their horse to his wagon - he MUST (if his is a rational man) think that none of this is "good publicity" for him.

I pray nothing horrific ever happen to this President, I fear for anyone who isn't a cultist follower of sects like these, no matter what their color or beliefs. The slaughter these whackjobs would do makes Charlie Manson look like a innocent school girl. I think the topic of ZOMBIES in the Darkside forum could EASILY include this VIDEO!!!

apparently neither he, nor those around him, ever thought any of this stuff would become public.  look at the stated beliefs of those who work for him.  either he is so arrogant to believe that this will not matter, or he believes that he has such power it does not matter what we think.

there is another thing to consider.  obama has been steeped in these beliefs and insulated in a community that shares and fosters these beliefs.  he is probably shocked a bit to find that the majority of the population does not want what he wants.  not to worry.  he is surrounded by those who taught and groomed him.  he has congress pretty much on his side.  at this point, it does not matter if the population does not back his agenda.

Those folks are wacked out of their skulls.

I for one am not moving to Canada or anywhere else for that matter.  It annoys me when people claim to be moving because they are not happy with our situation.  Now is the time to be heard and loudly at that.  Should the time come that we have to defend our own neighborhoods we know we can not count on the cowards that are moving to another country.  My neighborhood is solid.

If you turn and run I for one will not welcome you back after we get our country back.  You will have to be content with socialized medicine and no guns in your new country.

The United States is one of the few countries that does allow for us to vote in their own dictator.  Now it's time to vote him out.

 - this is basically a summary of the soviet russian plan to demoralize and confuse/ confound  the average American; there is a two hour interview, but this basically sums it up. We've had our industrial and manufacturing base pretty much given away (consider how rare it is to find something that says "Made in USA" on it) Young people generally think very differently about freedom, patriotism, and capitalism than someone just a little older. - I won't say "all is lost", but historical patterns have demonstrated  where the granting of godhood to a mortal has gone and could conceivably go now. Being loyal to personal freedom and patriotism may be better applied secretly; possibly as assistance from without. As a back up plan I would say the most important things to preserve are history, and any documents which present the truth about the ideals of freedom and capitalism; because as a contingency it may be better to hide information that someone in the future may find and understand what was attempted in ancient Greece, Rome, and refined again in America, that it is possible to build a society where serfdom and servitude are repudiated and reviled. Including where our patriots and protectors of democracy went wrong. aside from that it couldn't hurt to have a "free country starter kit" hidden away somewhere so that someone may find it one day and realize they've been lied to.
But for now I think Yuri in the video hit the nail on the head - 20 odd years ago; the brainwashed are everywhere.

if you go by the books, and things we know the obama mentors have said, it's pretty easy to see why he's doing what he's doing.  also easy to see why he's surrounded himself with the people he has.

the president usually does not have to much power.  not enough to change the country in any radical way.  obama has pretty much the perfect storm of opportunity.  he has a "crisis", congress, and international backing.

the one problem he's facing is that he may lose members of congress in this next election.  i predict that something will happen between now and the serious campaigning to help dems stay in power.

I agree with Kathy's predictions that a crisis will be manufactured to keep the dems in power.

It will likely be a terrorist attack from terrorist born and raised in this country.  Thanks to George the government now has the tools with the Patriot Act and all they need is an excuse.

Martial Law is a mere executive order away.

Flag me fishy!

i don't expect anything quite that dramatic.  it would take a heck of a terrorist attack to declare marshal law nationally.  a good pandemic could do it.  so could some kind of major scandal in the republican party...but it would have to be a big one.

mason, have your read the patriot act and it's revisions?  i find that most people who fuss about it have not.  the bad thing about it might be the current revisions and expansions that have been talked about, but i confess to not having kept up on them as i should have.  there are certainly some things in it that can be misused.  all the more reason for us to be careful about our elections.  most of it was some badly needed updates on current laws, and an extension of laws already used by government entities like the DEA, to the rest of law enforcement.

any laws can have unintended consequences in the wrong hands.  is that the fault of the law, or of the people who put despots in charge?

that's really good.  thanks.  posted it on FB.  there was a book written by a former KGB officer about what they did in the '60's.  don't remember the title.  it was a real eye opener.  McCarthy was right and time will vindicate his beliefs....maybe not all his actions......

i have been going through bee happys youtube videos while puttering around here.  this one makes the point about the need for religion in society.  i have tried to make this point, but he does it far better than i.  i have always found it interesting that communist governments have either destroyed or subverted religion as soon as they came into power.  his explanation makes sense.

Hi,

Kathy,  "no",  I have not read the revisions to the Patriot Act but will put it on my short list.  The whole idea just seemed a little creepy.  Send me some links if you think about it.

That was a powerful video. Thanks for defining, "creepy".
