Two Queen hive
«

I went to the bee yard yesterday to take a good long look in the hives. One of my hives had two queens. Mother and Daughter. The mother was a from a package installed in April 2008. They were walking right near eachother on the same frame! It was time I wish I had my camera.
Unfortuanly I was honeybound so there was not a lot of space for them to lay eggs - so today I went back and removed some frames and gave them some new ones. I only went thru the top box and I didn't see the Queens this time.
Started my foundationless test with this hive.
