Oh JP, man, what a lovely looking creature. I am really glad that you took those closeups of Beauregard. I could not stop looking at him. I am shocked beyond belief at all the different colours, shapes and sizes of the skin on that dude. I was looking at his legs and it looks like all the circular scales are octagon, just like a bee colony cell. Other places had groups of scales that looked like little flowers to me, the different shapes, colours and sizes of his scales is mindblowing. Actually, if you don't mind, I am going to save one of the images from your site (if I can do it), so I can keep it to look at.
No....better yet. Will you do me a favour. Will you, only when you can find that spare moment in time, get a good closeup shot of his head for me, and then go down his body, taking a good shot of all of him, so that I can look at each part individually. I know that this will be a bunch of work, but just do it for me, an old friend. I am serious about this. I want to look at his markings really closely so I can really and truly see the magnificence of the myriad of different shapes and sizes of the scales. Good on you. You have taken wonderful care of Beauregard (still love his name to pieces, by the way) and he has grown to a massive size. How big did you say he would get, think you said that somewhere, but I don't have time to go through all the posts. Do have that most wonderful day, of great love and health. Cindi
