Smoked Honey

The pump house where I got this last batch of bees from should be called something else as it doesn't house a pump any more. The guy uses it for a smoke house.

While I haven't tried any of the honey he said it does have a hickory flavour to it. I guess I will never know. Seems his father has cancer or something and his Doctor has suggested he eats local honey. Not real sure what it does for him, so I gave him what I got out of his sons pump.... I mean smoke house.

That's odd. I don't think I'd like honey with a hickory flavor. But heck, maybe it would be good on some ribs.
