Bottle Feeding
« on: June 23, 2009, 05:12:01 PM »
Bought this doll bottle last year with the intention of taking pictures and never got around to it.  Have been really busy working with and expanding our bees this spring, so simply just took the time a few days ago to snap a few pics.  Here's a couple of me "bottle feeding" one of our Russian ladies. :-D

you need to enter that somewhere.  don't think i have ever seen anything quite like it!
.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

That is FUNNY!!!  I always joke with my brother-in-law about how I am gonna market a bee petting zoo to supplement the honey LOL.  He will get a good laugh out of this photo.  NICE!!!  LOL

Thanks everyone for you comments.

Kathyp--usually enter a pic each year for our assoc. at the state fair.  If they want me to do it again, one of these might be the one.

I think its a great picture, very unqiue, thank you for sharing that with us!
You should send it in to one of the magazines, American Bee Journal or Bee Culture, I have seen less impressive pictures printed there, how many bees in flight pictures can there be and still be all that interesting.
I love how original this is.
