We have a girl called PINK here. She must be good as she has set an all time record at the Rod Laver Arena. 10 shows in a row, crowd about 15,000 each night.
PINK is bigger than Elvis, (well he never came here) Sinatra (well he came and went home very grumpy) Bigger than U2, the Beatles, you name it.
She will perform 50 shows nationally, 520,000 fans in nine cities as her musical juggernaut spends the next three months cris crossing the country. Thats about 2% of the total population of Australia. They say we broke her career, she had some kinda trouble, but her fans here didnt desert her. So here she is larger than life to give back what we gave her.
Pink is yet to tour the US as a solo artist, so its kinda strange, she might be like ABBA, a weird Aussie cult following for some reason.
I know a few songs. Not bad. Id like to see her interviewed, see what she has to say.
All I can say is, when Australia loves you, she shoves you right under the covers!

Well, you threw me with 'Pink has yet to tour the US as a solo artist' because she has, so I didn't think you were talking about the same woman. She's been all over our TV many times, she's been on Ellen, The View, etc. That's the only reason I know her, because I don't listen to music much anymore.

Every other song on the radio is something by Pink. She's wearing on me. Yes, she beats to her own drum and has attitude, like Ann! ...JP

I find her to be a bit much. I don't care for those "in your face" types though, its overbearing.

Hey Jer... I resemble that remark! Havent you noticed? the older you get, the better they look! Used to be, for me, most girls I thought looked nice were too old...Nowadays, they're too young!..I missed something along the line somewhere! your friend, john
