irwin, you have to upload the pictures from your computer to the picasa site. you can then post the link from the site. choose a picture. look to the right of the picture and you'll see "link to this photo". click on that, tick the box that says "image" only, highlight and copy what is in the "embed image" box, paste to this site. i'll wait

"Nay, it [this constitution of government] must perish, if there be not that vital spirit in the people, which alone can nourish, sustain, and direct all its movements. It is in vain, that statesmen shall form plans of government, in which the beauty and harmony of a republic shall be embodied in visible order, shall be built up on solid substructions, and adorned by every useful ornament, if the inhabitants suffer the silent power of time to dilapidate its walls, or crumble its massy supporters into dust; if the assaults from without are never resisted, and the rottenness and mining from within are never guarded against. Who can preserve the rights and liberties of the people, when they shall be abandoned by themselves? Who shall keep watch in the temple, when the watchmen sleep at their posts? Who shall call upon the people to redeem their possessions, and revive the republic, when their own hands have deliberately and corruptly surrendered them to the oppressor, and have built the prisons, or dug the graves of their own friends?
Justice Joseph Story, "Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States," Volume II, Chapter XIII: Mode of Passing Laws, Sections 900-901, pp. 364 (1833)

they are on the picasa program that you put on your computer. picasa has a web site. you need to upload your pictures to the picasa web site to post them here, just as you upload them to imageshack to post them here. open picasa, select the pictures that you want to upload, they will show in a tray at the bottom left of the page, click on the green hold button just to the right of the pictures in the tray. to the right of that, you will see "upload" with a green arrow. click on that and it will take you to the picasa site. it may ask you for your google log on and then will upload your pictures. after they are uploaded, follow the above. i will wait

now...lesson 2 if you upload a bunch of pictures to one album on picasa, you can post individual pictures instead of the whole album, if you wish. do this: open picasa online (with password) choose album, choose a picture. look to the right of the picture and you'll see "link to this photo". click on that, tick the box that says "image" only, highlight and copy what is in the "embed image" box, paste to this site. if you do a preview of your post, you should see thumbnails of your pictures.

Good camera Irwin! I have a coolpix 4300 I use alot! Its really quick to shoot with! Its an older version of the current coolpix but its still good! I got it cuz consumer reports rated it the best for that type of camera! I like my Nikon D-50 but sometimes the coolpix is so much more convenient!
